Abstract
PURPOSE: To constantly stably support a vehicle in a desired posture by forcibly locking by a mechanical means from the outside a hydraulic jack and a pilot check valve provided in a hydraulic circuit whereby a hydraulic pump and an oil reservoir are communicated with each other.
CONSTITUTION: When a handle 23 is turned in a tightening direction as a hydraulic jack J is kept in an extended state, a push rod 22 is slidingly moved to left so that an end portion of the push rod 22 collides with a spherical valve 19, which is thus brought into close contact with a surface 21 of a valve seat 13. As a result, a pilot check valve Vp is held in a locked state. At this time, the flow of an operation oil in an oil passage on the extension side is interrupted so that the hydraulic jack J is also hydraulically locked. Therefore, even when a change-over valve Vs is then shifted to right by mistake, and even when an oil leak or damage or breakage occurs in an operation oil supply system, the hydraulic jack J is never contracted. This allows a vehicle to be supported securely in a desired posture.
