Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect error A/D conversion and an abnormal constituent element by arranging circuits, which detect abnormality based upon correlation among several analog values inputted to an A/D converter, on the output side of the converter and then by combining outputs of those circuits.
CONSTITUTION: Analog input information 1 is supplied to input conversion circuits 2 and 2' of A/D converters expressed by blocks A and B for level matching and removal of a high-frequency component and their outputs are inputted to sample holding multiplexers 3 and 3'. In those multiplexers 3 and 3', signals to be applied to A/D converters 4 and 4' are time-divided and the outputs of multiplexers are converted into digital values. Those digital values are supplied to digital processing circuits 6 and 6' and also to abnormality detection circuits 5 and 5' which detects an abnormal state, and outputs of circuits 5 and 5' are applied to decision circuit 8 to decided on abnormality about blocks A and B; and decision results of blocks A and B are combined and applied to data processing circuits 6 and 6' to detect an error in A/D conversion and abnormality of a constituent element.
