Abstract
PURPOSE: To accelerate a movable member in a linear motor and simplify the construction of the motor by providing a plurality of guide bars in parallel with a stator and inserting the stator and guide bars into the movable member to thereby slide the movable member along the guide bars.
CONSTITUTION: Supporting members 14 is provided at both ends of a stator 11, and three guide bars 13 are, for example, provided in parallel with the stator 11 between the supporting members 14. An engaging portion 20 having lubricating layers 21 is provided at the position corresponding to the guide bars 13 at the movable member 15 having poles 17 and exciting coils 18, the stator 11 is inserted into the central hole thereof, and the guide bars 13 are inserted into the engaging portion 20 so that the movable member 15 may slide on the guide bars. Thus, it eliminates moving mechanism such as rollers or the like at the movable member 15 to thereby simplify the construction thereof, and the weight is reduced to accelerate the movable member so as to improve the rising characteristics thereof.
