Abstract

PURPOSE: To assuredly hold a cassette-type type wheel in a stable position by fixing a connection member provided with a connection piece and plural position foler arms to the shaft of a type selection motor.
CONSTITUTION: A type wheel 2 is encased in a box-shaped cassette 1, and the shaft 8 of a type selection motor is inserted in a boss portion 6 of a central plate 5 of the wheel 2. The shaft 8 is formed with a tapered tip end portion so that it can be inserted in the boss portion 6 smoothly. A connection member 10 having a connection piece 12 and plural position holder arms 13 is fixed to the shaft 8. The piece 12 is inserted in an engagement hole 14 of the type wheel 2 to transmit the rotation of the shaft 8 to the type wheel 2. The arms 13 are placed opposite to holding holes 20 of the plate 5. Each of the arms 13 consists of a stopper 15 contacted with the wheel 2 and a slip-off prevention piece 16 inserted in the hole 20.
