Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain satisfactory cooking results for foods of various kinds and amounts by controlling freely a radiation time of a high frequency power and an ejecting time of steam during a predetermined period of time.
CONSTITUTION: In case a food housed in a heating chamber is cooked by both of a high frequency wave and steam, both of switches 4, 6 are closed. When a knob 14 for a timing device 2 is situated at a highest position, a switch 12 is being closed and a voltage from an AC power source 1 is input continuously into a high frequency generating device 5. During a period in which the switch 12 is being opened, the voltage is input into a steam generating device 7. As the situation of the knob 14 is moved downwardly by and by, a period in which the switch 12 is being opened, during a cam 11 is rotating, becomes longer by and by, while a period in which the switch 12 is being closed becomes shorter on the contrary.
