Abstract

PURPOSE: To save electric power consumption when windows are open at night time by performing on/off operation of fan motor at setting temperatures different from those for the on/off operation of compressor.
CONSTITUTION: On/off operation of a fan motor 4 is performed at the setting temperatures T3, T4 different from those T1, T2 for the on/off operation of a compressor 3. When the windows are opened at night, the temperature T in the room becomes lower than the setting temperature T1. When the room temperature reaches the setting temperature T3 lower than the setting temperature T1, it is detected by a temperature adjuster 8 and input to a control unit 11c to actuate the relay 10 to close the fan motor switch 6 to the open tap 6a side. Whereby the room temperature drops as indicated by a dotted line and the fan motor 4 stops. When the room temperature rises up to reach the setting temperature T4, the fan motor 4 is operated again to return to the cooling operation. This allows saving of electric power when the windorws are kept open at night time.
