Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a graft polymer having excellent compatibility with fluoro- resins, and useful as a plasticizer, by the polymerization of a fluorine-containing olefin monomer to a specific polyester suspended in an aqueous medium.
CONSTITUTION: The objective graft polymer is prepared by the polymerization of (A) a fluorine-containing olefin monomer such as vinylidene fluoride, etc. in (B) an aqueous suspension of a straight-chain polyester having a molecular weight of 500W5,000 (pref. included in particles of suspension polymerized fluoro-resin). A fluoro-resin composition having excellent processability can be obtained by blending 100 parts by weight of a fluoro-resin with 1W50 parts of the graft polymer thus obtained.
