CONSTITUTION:Relay C of public telephone TEL operates when the storage amount of the coins exceeds a fixed threshold level. Resistance R sets the current value of the loop circuit to the non-operating value of relay A, and also sets constant voltage element ZD within the saturation region. Relay SUP monitors the loop circuit, and element ZD moves to the non-saturation region in case the coin storage amount has no margin or the loop circuit is cut off. As a result, relay SUP operates and then alarm control circuit ALMC operates to inform the fault occurrence.
