Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the title element equipped with a uniform flow passage being capable of washing a membrane surface by a mechanism wherein a supply passage spacer is piled to a synthetic resin semipermeable membrane to form a band like body and an adhesive agent is supplied to both lug portions of a band like body during folding by a pair of clasp knife thereafter obtained folded band like body is received in a holding box and cut.
CONSTITUTION: A thin plate supply liquid flow passage formed spacer 3 and a permeate flow passage formed spacer 1c are piled on a synthetic resin semipermeable membrane 1 by a guide roll 2 and, moreover, folded mutually and gently to a longitudinal direction by a part of folding knife 11a, 11b and an adhesive agent is supplied to both ear edge portions of a band like polymer during folding. Subsequently, a pilot plate 6 is inserted by a sylinder to engage the pilot plate 6 with a guide chain and the band like body is moved at a constant speed, thereafter, drawn out by a cylinder 40c at a position 42 and received in a holding box 120 being freely detachable. The filled band like body is cut by a cutting knife 6'b' at a predetermined length and, after compressed by a press 22d, the holding box 120 is moved to a storage place and an adhesive agent is hardened to obtain a desired element.
