Abstract

PURPOSE: To devise to collect pumps in each unit into a compact one body in an ink-supplying, an ink-collecting and other units in an ink-jet printer and the like.
CONSTITUTION: This ink-jet printer is constructed by equipping a nozzle 1 to inject ink particles 4, electrodes 3 to electrify ink particles, deflecting electrodes 5 to deflect electrified ink particles, and a gutter part 7 to collect used ink, on a carriage 8 to reciprocate on a slide shaft 9 in parallel to a record paper 6. Here, hollows of cylinders 13W15 with succesively smaller diameters are respectively divided by bellows 19W21 into pressure chambers 16W18, and each bellows are rolled along each pressure chamber for supplying and discharging liquid. This construction in used for a pump to collect ink caught in the gutter part 7 and to supply ink to the above- written nozzle 1.
