Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to compensate a drift component, etd., included in output signals of two out of three demodulators in CTV signal processing IC, by using the output voltage of the remaining demodulator.
CONSTITUTION: On receiving a CTV signal and burst gate signal from circuit 38 including a direct-current regenerating circuit, IC42 regenerates a subcarrier of approximate 3.58MHz. Then B-Y and R-Y color difference signals are demodulated and then applied to B-Y and R-Y amplifiers 46 and 50. Compensator circuit 48 applies B-Y and R-Y amplifiers 46 and 50 with the output voltage across a G-Y demodulator applied no CTV signal from IC42 to compensate drift components, etc., included in B-Y and R-Y color-difference signals by canceling. Three demodulators are provided in the same IC, and consequently conditions where a drift component is generated are equal, so that the compensation can be attained efficiently.
