Abstract

PURPOSE: To carry out wise-range disposal of industrial wastes by providing an industrial waste disposing device in a floating body navigable on the sea.
CONSTITUTION: Industrial wastes which have been transported into the storage 1 on land by a crane 19 are dried in a drier 3 by utilizing waste heat, and are converted in a melting furnace 7 into vitreous slags adapted legally for ocean disposal or landfill. Furthermore, only slags having a grain size adapted for the above described disposal are selected in a slag disposing device 8 and stored in a slag storage 20 until the floating body is shifted to a site where the slags are thrown or landfilled. The slags which are unadapted for throwing or land filling are resupplied to the melting furnace 7. Accordingly, the wide range disposal becomes possible.
