Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size of an electronic wrist watch and the cost thereof by operating two sets of drive trains and indicating wheel trains by one set of power supply and governor mechanism to thereby effectively function the two sets of the drive trains and the indicating wheel trains. CONSTITUTION:A waveform synthesizer circuit 53 suitably synthesizes signals from a frequency divider circuit 52 to thereby produce a normal or reverse signal and an alarm drive signal for normally moving hands or quickly moving the hands. The signal from an external control switch 54 is connected to the circuit 53, which thereupon selectively produces a normal or reverse signal, normal output pulse number, quick feed pulse number, and allows an alarm drive circuit 55 and a normal time display motor drive circuit 56 to confirm the alarm set time and selectively display the time of other country by a motor drive circuit 57. Thus, the wrist watch is reduced in size and cost.
