Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to fulfill a fixed job automatically at allotted time by using a data processing system where schedule tables as to fixed transaction and regular transaction are registered.
CONSTITUTION: Job names correspond to job control languages in procedure library 3, points and time data of jobs to be carried out are entered into schedule table 4, and execution time data are set to scheduler 5 which correspond to jobs where the contents of schedule table 4 should be read and executed in sequence. Then, job generation processing part 2 reads a job control language corresponding to the job and then starts the job at a point and time entered into the schedule table. Consequently, a fixed job can be carried out automatically at allotted time.
