Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify an optical system to constitute a unit cheaply by providing a track slippage detecting optical system and a focusing slippage detecting optical system in one optical system.
CONSTITUTION: The light beam radiated from laser light source 1 has 20% of intensity reflected by special semi-transparent mirror 2 and has the rest reflected by reflection mirror 3. After the light beam reflected by reflection mirror 2 and the light beam reflected by reflection mirror 3 are dispersed by dispersal lens 4 as shown in the one-dot chained line and the solid line respectively, they form spots in different positions on information recording face 9 through beam splitter 5, reflection mirror 6 and object lens 7. These light beams are modulated on the recording face and are reflected and are incident onto splitter 5 and are reflected there, and the beam indicated by the solid line and the beam indicated by the one-dot chain line are incident onto information detecting and track slippage detecting light receiving element 10 and focusing slippage and track slippage detecting bisected light receiving element 11 respectively. Then, focusing slippage and track slippage are detected by element 11 and difference of light intensity between elements 10 and 11 respectively, and correction for them are performed.
