Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the insulation distance of conductors and to make a transformer compact, by enclosing the conductors in a gas filled space when an electromagnetic coil of a resin-molded three-phase transformer is connected to three-phase bus lines by the use of connecting conductors.
CONSTITUTION: Current terminals 3 of a molded coil 1 constituting a transformer is connected to the ends of connecting conductors 2 which pierce through a molded bushing 4, and the conductors 2 are connected to three-phase bus lines 6 by way of a spacer 7. In this constitution, a sheath 9 is provided to surround the conductors 2 on the portion from the bushing 4 to the bus lines 6, and an insulating gas comprising SF6 gas or the mixture of SF6 and flon gas is filled in a surrounded space 5 and sealed. In this method, the distance l' from the side of the coil 1 to the spacer 7 is reduced to about 1/2 that of the conventional constitution, thereby the size of the transformer becomes compact accordingly.
