Abstract

PURPOSE: For preventing the generation of big sound by coil devices such as transformers, to make the contact surface of the bottom plate and side wall sections of the coil cover on one hand and of the coiled iron core, on the other of said device into special structure.

CONSTITUTION: A device with coil such as transformer is made of a coiled iron core 1 made by combining E-and T-type iron cores 2 and 3, a side wall section 5b almost orthogonally bent at a square bottom plate section 5a and on a peripheral portion of said bottom plate portion 5a to contact the tip thereof with the surface of said iron core 1, and a base section 5c almost orthogonally bent at the remainder peripheral portion of said bottom plate section 5a. projecting pieces 6 and a pair is projecting pieces 7 are provided on said side wall and base sections 5b and 5c respectively, and the surface and the integration end surface of said iron core 1 are contacted with the end surface of said side wall section 5b and with said base section 5c respectively. Said projecting pieces 6 and 7 of a cover 5 with base 5 are inclined onto said iron core 1, and said cover 5 is fastened on said iron core 1 for preventing the sound generated by the vibration of said iron core 1 from leaking outside.
