Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide title resin compsn. that produces molded article having high strength, by blending a polyolefin resin with a stretching compsn. consisting of a melt mixt. of a polyolefin and a stretchable thermoplastic resin incompatible with the polyolefin and having a higher melting point than that of the polyolefin.
CONSTITUTION: A stretching compsn. consisting of a melt mixt. of (A) a polyolefin and (B) a stretchable thermoplastic resin incompatible with the polyolefin and having a higher melting point than that of (A), is blended with (C) a polyolefin resin which may be the same kind as (A) or different from (A), to obtain a reinforced polyolefin resin compsn. Examples of (A) are high density polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. Examples of (B) are polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephtpalate or polyamides such as 6,6-nylon.
