Abstract
PURPOSE: To sample the line signal from the composite video signal regenerated from the disk in the video signal regenerator of the video disk or the like, and then to convert the line signal into the time display signal to display the time on the TV picture receiver.
CONSTITUTION: The luminance signal is compounded with the chrominance signal from the FM signals detected by stylus 11 and through disk 2 and via FM detector circuits 12∼adder circuit 23. And this composite signal are turned to the normal composite video signal through clamping circuit 37 after amplification. Both horizontal H and vertical V pulses are produced through synchronous isolator circuit 25, and line number sampling pulse is produced through H counter 27. Then the clamped output by the FM detection output samples only the line signal at circuit 29, and the line signal is read into shift register 30. The time of 1H is sampled for 1V, and the output converts the line signal into the 7-segment figure code through matrix circuit 33 and character circuit 34. Thus the picture and the time are displayed on the Braun tube.
