Abstract

PURPOSE: To simply treat a sulfur compound formed in a sulfur recovery device and tail gas containing reducing gas, which does not react yet, in a fluid layer boiler system including the regenerating treatment of a desulfurizing agent.
CONSTITUTION: Heat transfer pipes 2 are disposed to a fluid layer boiler body 1, and coal is fed from a hopper 5 and limestone, a desulfurizing agent, from a hopper 6 to the inside of the body through a line 4 respectively. Burnt exhaust gas formed in a fluid layer and dispersed dust are separated at a cyclone 8 while particles, which desulfurizing reaction advances, are sent to a regenerative tower 11 from a transport pipe 10. The particles of the desulfurizing agent regenerated at the regenerative tower 11 are returned into the fluid layer through a transport pipe 16 while gas containing sulfur dioxide produced by regeneration reaction is fed to a cyclone 12, dust is separated here and the gas is sent to a sulfur recovery device 13. Sulfur dioxide in said gas is recovered as hydrogen sulfide or sulfur in the device 13, and tail gas, which is not recovered yet, is returned to the fluid layer through a line 17.
