Abstract
PURPOSE: To cheaply prevent the cloud of a transparent window mounted to a heating chamber while miniaturizing and lightening device itself, by coating forming metallic films with high surface resistance on a surface of separation with air to said transparent window.
CONSTITUTION: In a device that a heating chamber 2 is formed into a cabinet 1, and a magnetron 3 for radiating microwaves into the heating chamber 2 is installed onto an outer surface of the cabinet 1 while a transparent window 8 for monitoring the cooking conditions of matter to be heated in a door 6 of the heating chamber 2 is fixed to a frame body 10 by means of a window keep 9, metallic films 12 are formed by applying the metallic oxides of indium, zinc, etc., which have high surface resistance on a surface of separation with air, onto an inner surface of the transparent window 8 in dapple shapes. Consequently, the energy loss of microwaves is converted into heat energy when microwaves are irradiated on said metallic films 12, and the inner surface of the transparent window 8 is directly heated, thus removing the cloud.
