Abstract
PURPOSE: To control stroke of heat-sensitive body at the optimum condition at all times, by setting a value of current passing to an electric heater for heating of the heat-sensitive body, in accordance with the state of engine warming up.
CONSTITUTION: A heat-sensitive body assembly 21 for control of a throttle valve which is attached to a carburetor main 1, is composed of a heat-sensing body 22 having a large expanding force, a board-like electric heater 23 for heating the heat- sensitive body 22, a rod 24 transmitting displacement of the heat-sensing body 22 and a return spring 25 which press the rod 24 against the heat-sensitive body 22. In accordance with condition of the state of engine warming up detected by the sensor of a detector 33' (such as a water temperature sensor, an engine ambient temperature sensor, an engine r.p.m. sensor, a time sensor, a negative pressure sensor and an vehicle travelling speed sensor, etc.), a value of current flowing toward the electric heater 23 is calculated by a calculator (or an arithmatic and logic unit) 34. In other words, a stroke of the heat-sensitive body 22 can be maintained at the optimum condition at all times.
