Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the wear resistance and mechanical durability and achieve suitability to repeated use without rise of recording voltage, by forming high dielectric constant resin layer and high insulation resin layer on a conductive supporting body.
CONSTITUTION: A high dielectric constant resin layer 2 of which specific inductive capacity is 8 or more, such as polyvinylidene fluoride, is formed by spreading on a conductive supporting body 1, such as Al plate, by a thickness 5W50μ, or such resin film is adhered with adhesive. Next, a high insulation resin layer 3 is formed with a polyester resin or the like having volume resistivity of 1014Ωcm or more, preferably 1016Ωcm or more to a layer thickness of 5W30μ, by spreading the resin solution or adhering the resin layer with sdhesive. Thus, recording is enabled at a lower recording voltage than in the case of an electrostatic recording body having a high insulation resin layer formed directly on the supporting body, so that the durability may be improved.
