Abstract
PURPOSE: To form the fluorescent film with good contrast and luminous efficiency by eliminating the release of filter material in a slurry.
CONSTITUTION: Colloidal particles of water-soluble acrylic resin dispersion are dissolved by adjusting pH with NH4OH etc. A flusrescent material is uniformly dispersed in this solution. On the other hand, filter material is excellently dispersed individually, added in the liquid dispersion of said fluorescent waterial and is mixed. While this mixed solution is being agitated, pH is further adjusted with H2SO4, HCl, etc. The resin is deposited on both surfaces of the fluorescent particle and of the filter material particle. The filter material uniformly adheres on the surface of the fluorescent particle.
