Abstract
PURPOSE: To form decorative surface having clear uneven pattern by coating the surface of a plate material with silicone resin acting as a releasing agent, coating granular paint all over the surface, drying and releasing granular coated layer on the silicone resin layer.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a plate material 1 is coated with silicone resin solution or a solution of silicone resin and a coloring material to form a thin patterned coated layer 2. A paint is coated in granular state all over the surface of the plate material 1 containing the patterned coated layer 2 to form a granular coated layer 3. After drying, the granular coated layer 3 on the patterned coated layer 2 is released from the plate material 1 by brushing, etc. By this method, colored patterned part which is colored by the coloring material contained in the resin, is exposed in the released part, and a coated sheet provided with the granular coated layer 3 on the surface except the part of the surface having the patterned coated layer 2, can be obtained.
