Abstract
PURPOSE: To perfectly incinerate EP ash, by uniformalizing temperature in a fluid layer by mounting a plurality of auxiliary combustion burners to a fluid-layer furnace in specified capacity and in the specified direction, in a device that injects flames into the fluid layer by means of auxiliary combustion burners.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of auxiliary combustion burners 4 are installed in the tangential direction of a furnace wall of a turnig jet-layer furnace 1. The capacity of the auxiliary combustion burners 4 is appropriate when the maximum capacity is 30kg/Hr and capacity in case of normal load is 20kg/Hr, and flames are generated on a layer when capacity becomes larger than these value. The fluid layer is provided with turning currents by air injected from small holes 8 mounted to a funnel- shaped porous plate 5, but the auxiliary combustion burners 4 also accelerate the turning currents of the fluid layer 2 because they are installed in the tangential directions. The temperature of the fluid layer is adjusted by turning a plurality of auxiliary combustion burners 4 ON-OFF. Consequently, temperature in the layer becomes uniform, and EP ash is perfectly incinerated while the EP ash and a fluid medium are excellently mixed and agitated, thus improving the efficiency of incineration.
