Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare a rodent-repellent paint having high effectivity and giving a coating film free from low-temperature brittleness, by mixing an acrylic acid-type synthetic rubber composed mainly of butyl acrylate with a specific amount of cycloheximide, and dissolving the mixture in an organic solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A paint composition obtained by mixing (A) 100 parts by weight of an acrylic acid-type synthetic rubber composed mainly of butyl acrylate [e.g. Toa-Acron PS #250 (product of Toa paint Co. Ltd.)] with (B) 1W10 parts of cycloheximide, and dissolving the mixture in an organic solvent such as trichloroethylene.
