Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize the fluctuation of calorie of a mixed gas in an air heating furnace by regulating a flow rate control valve in accordance with the results of comparison between a computed value based on a signal representative of the flow rate of a coke oven gas and a signal representative of a correction amount of coke oven gas, and a signal from a coke oven gas flow meter.
CONSTITUTION: A signal representative of the flow rate of B-gas (blast furnace gas) from a B-gas flow meter 1 is input into a M-gas (mixed gas) ratio regulator 3, and a signal representative of the flow rate of C-gas (coke oven gas) from a C-gas flow meter 2 into a C-gas flow rate regulator 4. The calorie of M-gas measured by a calorimeter 5 is compared with a set value in a regulator 6 to calculate a mixing ratio of C-gas with respect to B-gas for the correction of the mentioned mixing ratio. A mixing amount of C-gas is calculated on the basis of the B-gas amount and an output from the regulator 6 in the regulator 3, and the result is output into an arithmetic and logic unit 9. The arithmetic and logic unit 9 receives signals representative of C-gas correction amounts V2, V3 from a combustion starting corrector 111 and a combustion interrupting corrector 112, to carry out computation V0=V1+V2-V3. The regulator 4 is controlled by this computed value V0.
