Abstract
PURPOSE: To rotate the armature iron core to the position to engage it with the stator iron core to of an angle motor upon energization of the motor and return the armature iron the original position upon deenergization of the motor via a spring by providing stepped portions at predetermined positions of the inner and outer circular surfaces of the stator and armature cores.
CONSTITUTION: A stepped portion 11 is provided on the inner circular surface of the stator iron core 4 of an angle motor by forming first and second inner circular surfaces 10 and 12 of radii r1 and r2 on the inner circular surface so that the radius r2 is slightly larger than the radius r1. A stepped portion 14 is provided on the outer circular surface of the armature iron core 6 by forming first and second outer circular surfaces 13 and 15 on the outer circular surface 13 with radii r3 and r4 so that the radius r4 is slightly larger than the radius r3. That is, the relationship among the radii is r2 > r4 > r1 > r3. Since the angle motor is thus formed, the relative position between the armature 4 and the stator 4 is always q=0, and is set to become q=90° upon energization of the motor, and the armature is returned to the original position by the recoiling strength of a spring upon deenergization of the motor.
