Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain an inductor whose inductance value can be regulated at option and which is thin-shaped, small in size and fitted for mass production by forming a conductive pattern connected at its edge on both surfaces of thin insulating plate by means of printing.
CONSTITUTION: On the surface of thin insulating plate 1 of magnetic material and the like conductors 2 are provided in lines at equal intervals by the printing method and further magnetic material 3 is printed thereon to be magnetic core, with its upper and lower edges being left not printed. Next, on the surface of magnetic material 3 plural conductors 4 are printed so that they are connected with each end of conductors 2 on the back side, respectively, and by conductors 2 and 4 thus printed a coil is formed around the magnetic material 3. Then, while making terminals S and F exposed out of laminate, magnetic material 5 is printed so as to protect the laminate. In this way, the inductor which is small and thin as less than 1mm, whose inductance value can be regulated in option by trimming, and which is fitted for mass production, can be obtained.
