Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the displacement of an annular member having a spark quenching element in a miniature motor and prevent vibration of the motor by providing the member at the outer periphery of a commutator base, engaging the annular member with the base, and connecting the commutator terminal to a spark quenching terminal projected from the member.
CONSTITUTION: A spark quenching annular member 2 having a spark quenching element 1 is arranged on the outer periphery of a commutator base 3, the engaging lug 4 projected from the inner periphery of the member 2 is engaged with the engaging recess 5 perforated on the outer periphery of the base 3, and the commutator terminal 7 connected to a commutator segment 6 mounted on the base 3 is connected to a spark quenching terminal 8 connected to the member 2. Accordingly, it eliminates the displacement of the member 2 in axial and rotating directions to thereby reduce the size of the motor.
