Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the replacement work of friction pads as well as absorb the pitch abberation of a pin to the opening by installing the slide pin or opening and caliper while they are pinched by a bolt to be screwed in a threaded hole parallel to the disc surface.
CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 14 which is an opening part 15 of the guide mechanism of a caliper 8, is fitted on a cylindrical member 13 fixed to a firm support 2. A threaded hole 17 approx. parallel to the rotating surface of a disc 1 is formed in the tip of a slide pin 16, which fits to the opening part 15 in a sliding condition. The caliper 8 and the slide pin 16 are fixed firmly by screwing the bolt 20 which is inserted in loose fit in the through-hole 18 of the caliper 8, into this threaded hole 17. By this construction, replacement of the pads can be made easily by only loosening and fastening the bolt 20 as well as the pitch abberation of the slide pin 16 can be absorbed by the loose fit of the bolt with the through-hole 18.
