Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve efficiency of production, by facilitating adjustment of a relative position between a truck and a hanger while a conveyor is kept running.
CONSTITUTION: If a truck 3 must be positioned right below a hanger 6, a driving sprocket 8 is locked and a screw wheel 14 is turned counterclockwise. Movable sprockets 10, 11 are then shifted upward by the same distance and an interlocking chain moves a point B on the driven sprocket to a point A. The distance l between both points A, B is twice the distance of lift of the said sprockets. This means that turning of the driven sprocket clockwise shifts the chain interlocked with the driven sprocket and also shifts the truck 3 to the left, thus the truck can precisely be placed just below the hanger 6.
