Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic toner for photofixing free from caking, resistant to long term continuous use, and yet capable of fixing an image by use of comparatively low energy, by using a binding resin containing a bisphenol A-type resin.
CONSTITUTION: For example, about 45pts. of a bisphenol A-type epoxy resin, about 5pts. of carbon black, and about 50pts. of magnetite are kneaded, pulverized with a jet mill, and classified by air elutriation. Then, carbon black is fixed to the surfaces to form a toner.
