Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable information other than that of originals to be written in transfer paper by disposing ink jet plotting mechanisms in the places where the transfer paper provided in the transfer paper conveying path travels at a constant linear speed.
CONSTITUTION: Ink jet plotting mechanisms 12, 13 etc. are installed in an arbitrary number in the places where transfer paper travels at a constant linear speed after electrostatic development or transfer. On-demand type ink jet particles which do not charge are used for the mechanisms 12, 13, etc. and the ink jet bodies are shielded to prevent clogging of ink jet nozzles owing to suspended matter such as toner or toner solvents. Thereby, the information other than that of originals may be written into the transfer paper.
