Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve isolation characteristics by providing a resistor on the flank of a magnetic-substance substrate which is most close to an earth conductor on the reverse of the substrate, when connecting one of three transmission lines joined on the substrate at a joint part to the earth conductor via the resistor.
CONSTITUTION: On ferrimagnetic-substance substrate 1 serving as an unreversible element substrate, transmission lines 2a, 2b and 2c as internal conductors are formed being joined by joint part 2d. On the reverse surface of substrate 1, earth conductor 5 is bonded and line 2c is further connected there via resistor 3, but at this time, resistor 3 is not positioned on substrate 1 but fitted on the flank of substrate 1 being close to earth conductor 5. As a result, a reactance component is nearly eliminated to allow the pure resistance component of impedance remain, so that transmission lines on the junction part side can be matched with those on the resistor side covering a broad frequency band by selecting the resistance value of resistor 3. In addition, providing compensation circuit 9 to line 2c improves more isolation performance.
