Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve greatly picture quality by making it possible to derive a faithful color signal to a part where correlation of a subject is not born in an extremely-small section on two adjoining scanning lines, when the part exists.
CONSTITUTION: By stripe filter 1 arranged on the front surface of pickup tube 2, two primary color components of a subject are converted into a single frequency and when the converted color-band signal is led out being frequency-superposed upon the luminance signal of the subject, the color-band signal having passed through band-pass filter 4 is supplied to adder circuit 7 and subtracter circuit 8 by way of 1H delay circuit 5 and π/2 phase shifting circuit 6. The center control of vertical deflection circuit 24 is exercised by 1H-by-1H inversion output obtained by phase inverter circuit 20 and switch circuit 21 switching in response to horizontal pulses P and the comparison output of phase comparator 23 with the output of π/2 phase shifter 22, and control over linearity is also performed by the output of phase comparator 27 which makes a phase comparison between the output of BPF4 and inversion output of 1H delay circuit 25.
