Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the economy of an exchange by composing a channel system unit of several building blocks and then by providing low-order processors controlling units corresponding respective blocks and a high-order processor controlling the low-order processor. CONSTITUTION:A channel system unit is composed of channel system unit building blocks 12 and 12' and low-order processors 2 and 2' are provided which control channel system units corresponding to those blocks 12 and 12'. Further, high-order processor 1 is provided which controls in common signal receiving distributors 6 and 6' controlling those processors 2 and 2'. Those processor 2 and 2' control incoming trunks 7 and 7', outgoing trunks 8 and 8', and space-division channel networks 9 and 9' through scan drivers 3 and 3', relay controllers 4 and 4', and switch controllers 5 and 5' of block 12 and 12'. The starting of channel system units, reception of a selective number, and detection of a change in circuit state are brought under control and processor 1 exercises control over a call state and connections of a common resource control call.
