Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve cooling efficiency, and at the same time, simplify construction and make maintenance and inspection work easy by providing an oil recovery tank under an oil cooled bearing, providing an oil cooler under the oil recovery tank and connecting them, and circulating oil.
CONSTITUTION: In a stand 32 in which the bearing 30 of a rotating shaft 33 is provided, an oil tank 34 is provided and cooling oil is filled, and also an oil disc 36 is attached to the rotating shaft 33 to splash cooling oil. Under the bearing 30, an oil recovery tank 44 is provided to recover cooling oil dipping from the bearing 30 and the tank is connected with an oil cooler 48 located in a further lower part near a cooling air intake 38 by an oil outflow pipe 46, and after cooled, oil is returned to the oil tank 34 through an oil inflow pipe 50. By so doing, cooling effect is improved, and yet as no pump is required for oil circulation, construction is simplified and maintenance and inspection work is made easy.
