Abstract

PURPOSE: To hold down to the minimum the switching loss in an inverter circuit by providing a pair of transistors with a base driving circuit for applying a larger electric current in the first half of a continuity period and a smaller current in the second half of the period.
CONSTITUTION: The base driving circuit A is provided with winding NB to which a capacitor C is connected in addition to feedback winding NB; winding NB2 and NB3 to which resistors R4 and R3 are connected respectively; simultaneously with transistors Tr1 and Tr2 controlled by the current that passes through the winding NB; and transistors Tr1" and Tr2" controlled by the current which passes through the winding NB2 and NB3. A large base current passes through the transistors Tr1 and Tr2 in the first half of continuity period and a small base current in the second half of the period.
