Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a unit which has small number of constituents and endures a bad environment without noise countermeasure by using a light as information and using a optical fiber cable as a transmission medium. CONSTITUTION:The light from measured object 6 is condensed by object lens 1 and is inputted to the edge of optical fiber 2 and is led to measuring unit 11 through optical fiber cable 4. A detection part is constituted by object lens 1, optical fiber 2 and housing 3, and cable 4 and housing 3 are mounted and fitted by connector 5. For the purpose of changing the distance between lens 1 and fiber 2 to obtain a proper focal length for the light incident to fiber 2, housing 3 is provided with focus adjustment movable part 7 screwed by screw parts 7A and 7B. Measuring unit 11 subjects the incident light to photoelectric conversion 8 and indicates and records the conversion result 10 after amplification in 9.
