Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a rapid-response and sure-decision differential pressure detection method of sodium leak by performing differential pressure type sodium leak decision on a basis of difference between the differential pressure preceding over a fixed time and the current differential pressure in stead of the absolute value of the differential pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a differential pressure detector is sampled at every one minute, and difference between this sampled output and the output preceding by 10 minutes is taken and is compared with a set value to decide whether leak is present or not. The input from the differential pressure detector is converted to a digital value by A/D converter 4 and is inputted to left-end shift register 5 synchronously with shift pulses. By setting the period of the shift pulse to one minute, contents of register 5 are shifted to the right direction successively. Consequently, contents of right-end register 5 become the output of the differential pressure detector preceding by 10 minutes, and difference between this output and the output of A/D converter 4 becomes the output of subtractor 6, and it is decided whether leak is present or not rapidly and accurately without influence of individual difference, etc., of a filter by comparing the output above of subtractor 6 with the set level.
