Abstract
PURPOSE: To eliminate irregularity of a measured value and make it possible to grasp minute change of a wet property by using a reduction-property gas as a reducing agent for cleaning the solid surface when the wet property between the solid and a melted metal is measured.
CONSTITUTION: An atmosphere gas including reduction-property gas hydrogen is fed into quartz tube 24 from narrow tube part 44 of quartz tube 24, and humidity regulator 40 and gas heating furnace 41 are operated to satisfy experiment conditions. Next, vertical moving unit 4 is operated according to the program of measure control unit 47, and test piece 16 is heated by infrared-ray image furnace 25 according to the experiment program of program temperature controller 48 and is soaked into melted metal 28. At this time, since balance 11 is kept balanced in response to vertical movement of iron core 14, driving coil 20 of balance driving part 5 is operated, and therefore, the DC voltage inputted to coil 20 is read in 4 and is recorded as a wet curve on pen recorder 51. Thus, minute change of the wet property dependent upon various conditions can be measured accurately.
