Furthermore, magnetic layer 4, to which the magnetic powder of γ-Fe2O3 or the like is coated along with the binder of the polyurethane-group resin or the like, is formed on layer 3. In such way, a magnetic recording medium can be obtained with no fading of the colored layer nor reduction of the output and with the excellent wearing properties.
