Abstract

PURPOSE: To fix physiologically active protein by reacting a specific activated nylon and a physiologically active protein in an aqueous medium.
CONSTITUTION: A nylon in particulate, fibrous form or the like is reacted with an iminochloride forming agent such as PCl5, COCl2 or the like to convert an amide group to an iminochloride group and the obtained reaction product is reacted with a 4W8C aliphatic dicarboxylate of a formula I (M1 is H, alkali metal atom; M2 is alkali metal; n is 2W8) to convert an iminochloride group to N-acyl group of a formula II. Subsequently, the obtained reaction product is reacted with an active esterifying agent such as p-nitrophenylester, N-oxysuccinic acid imide ester or the like to convert a carboxyl group to an active ester group and an active nylon having a group of a formula III (A is an active ester residue). Thereafter, this activated nylon is reacted with a physiologically active protein in an aqueous medium of pH7W10.
