Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition having improved fluidity, release properties and thermal stability by mixing a specified ratio by weight of purified 14W18C saturated monohydric alcohol with polycarbonate resin.
CONSTITUTION: To object polycarbonate resin composition is obtained by steps of adding, to 100pts.wt. of a polycarbonate resin (a), of 0.02W5pts.wt. of purified 14W18C saturated monohydric alcohol (b), alone or in combination of two or more thereof, obtained by distillation under reduced pressure of saturated monohydric alcohol consisting mainly of 14W18C alcohol synthesized from coconut oil or the like as starting materials to depress the contents of 12C or lower alchol, carboxylic acids or the like, below 0.01wt%, which cause MW decrease and deterioration of physical properties of the polycarbonate resin, mixing them uniformly, and heating them preferably by an extruder to thereby pelletize them.
