Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A filter device A consists of endless running body B, filter material C provided on the entire periphery of the running body B, cleaning device D to remove impurity deposited on the filter material D, and pan E to receive filtered waste water installed under the running body B. Sprocket 1 drives the running body B with filter material D. When waste water is supplied to the filter material C, impurity is deposited on and collected by dense fiber filaments or strips 4, and filtered waste water flows onto the pan E. The deposited material on the fibers 4 is removed by rotary brushes 5 when they cross with fibers 4 of rod brushes 3 which reverse the direction at the sprocket 1.
