Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a simplified water clarifier provided with a synthetic zeolite layer, an activated carbon layer, and a granular filtering material layer in order, which is to be provided in the water supply system from water receiving tank installed on the roof of a building.
CONSTITUTION: The synthetic zeolite layer 2, the calcium sulfite-mixed activated carbon layer 3, and the granular material layer 4 are, respectively, housed in the cylinder 1 with the interposition of the respective wire nettings a, and the charging pipe 5 and the water supply pipe 6 are provided to the cylinder. In the system, the synthetic zeolite layer absorbs alkaline metals such as calcium, etc., and the activated carbon layer performs deodorization by activated carbon and also antiseptic sterilization by calcium sulfite serving as dechlorinizer.
