Abstract
PURPOSE:To attain a stable printing operation by accumulating charged voltage of ink particles directly in a capacitor, whereby an accurate charged voltage can be detected to control the charging phase. CONSTITUTION:Charged ink particles 15 are received by a gutter 16, and the charged voltage thereof is accumulated in a capacitor C to be discharged at a resistor R. This electric current is input into a binary circuit 19 through an impedance conversion circuit 17 and an amplifier 18 so as to be subjected to A-D conversion. A binary detection signal representative of charged voltage is input into a phase control circuit.
