Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert a change of light quantity whose level width exceeds a fixed level into an electric signal of the step wave form by using a solar battery as a light receiver. CONSTITUTION:When light is applied to the solar battery 1 and is cut off momentarily, outputs are produced in the differential circuit 2 and amplifier circuit 3 by a change of electromotive force of the solar battery, the Zener diode 5 and the thyristor 7 conduct. As a result, a current flows in the main circuit of the thyristor 7, a voltage is developed between both terminals of the output resistance 8. Current in the output circuit 6 is made greater than the latching voltage of the thyristor 7, and an electric signal of the step voltage is taken from both terminals of the output resistance 8.
